Dr. Susca is a Board Certified Specialist with Life-Time Member Status in Stuttering, Cluttering, and Fluency Disorders from the American Board of Stuttering, Cluttering, and Fluency Disorders (ABSCF). The ABSCF is approved as a specialty certification board by the Council for Clinical Certification in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CFCC) of the American Speech-LanguageHearing Association (ASHA). He has extensive experience, expertise, research, and clinical acumen he lends to the differential diagnosis and treatment of fluency disorders.

Aphasiologist
Aphasiologist is an old term for a speech-language pathologist (SLP) who enjoys working with people with aphasia. Aphasia is an acquired disorder causing difficulty in understanding and/or expressing language in one of many forms secondary to brain disturbance in one or multiple places. Causes are many: stroke(s), tumor(s), trauma(s), or progressive neurological disease. Such causes may also contribute to different types of speech disorders.
